Just a small add-on for the day. We've got the news where we heard Jojo had performed the National Anthem at the ALCS, dressed in a red jacket and jeans, looking good!

Quote from Boston.Com:
Foxborough's Joanna "JoJo" Levesque was at Fenway last night, performing the national anthem before Game 4 of the ALCS. The 17-year-old singer and actress is an enormous sports fan. Play ball!

Jojo reads with little kids!

Foxborough singing sensation Joanna "JoJo" Levesque took part in Jumpstart's Read for the Record event at Faneuil Hall. The teen star, who was joined by another JoJo - former Celtic Jo Jo White - and Mayor Tom Menino and Bruins alum Bob Sweeney, read "Corduroy." Now in its third year, the event bills itself as the largest shared reading experience in the country.

There might be pictures of this event coming soon in the gallery! smile ... Read More ...

JoJo Discusses ‘True Confessions Of A Hollywood Starlet’ Role
-Posted by: Quivi

JoJo Levesque spoke with reporters at the Television Critics Association confab in Los Angeles about her upcoming Lifetime flick, ‘True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet’, where the 17-year-old singer stars alongside Valerie Bertinelli in an unfamiliar role - a Hollywood train wreck, reports PopDirt.com.

“It is so different from who I am,” JoJo admitted. “I am so focused and I have all these different people around me, you know, keeping me kind of walled in, so to let loose and play drunk and trip out of my limousine. It was fun.”

While the Foxboro pop star said she’s a big fan of California, she stressed that “it’s important to separate what is real and what is fake.”
Joanna “JoJo” Levesque: Living a Normal Life
-Posted by: Quivi

Unlike her character in the new movie, "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet," Joanna "JoJo" Levesque has managed to balance stardom with a regular childhood. She talked to myLifetime.com about staying grounded, her role models and where she'll be in 10 years' time.

Do you see a lot of yourself in the character of Morgan?

The biggest similarity between us is the career path we're on, and of course, our ages. But besides that, we're quite different. My mom has made sure that I have a fairly normal childhood. I live very close to my family. I don't live in L.A. I've had the same best friend for 10 years. I think that Morgan had never really had any type of normalcy in her childhood. That's where we differ.

Fame came very quickly for you. How have you managed to stay grounded when so many younger stars seem to have trouble with that these days?

I think it's easier to get out of control than it is to stay grounded. When you're under high amounts of stress, you want to relieve that. Whether you relieve it through alcohol, drug abuse or men, people find their ways to relieve the stress. It's all about having a support team around you to help guide you. Oftentimes when people are making money off of a young person, they don't always have their best interests at heart. And I think that's why you see these bad things happening to young women. ... True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet Review
-Posted by: Quivi

Filmed in Toronto by Barbara Lieberman Prods. in association with Starz Media. Executive producers, Lieberman, Jon Maas; supervising producer, Phil Kleinbart; producer, Mark Winemaker; director, Tim Matheson; writer, Elisa Bell, based on the novel by Lola Douglas;

Morgan/ Claudia - Joanna "Jojo" Levesque
Trudy - Valerie Bertinelli
Eli - Ian Nelson
Sam - Justin Louis
Bianca - Lynda Boyd
Marissa - Shenae Grimes

Consider this telepic a throwback to the glory days of Lifetime, when the title (think "Another Woman's Husband") was invariably far better than the actual movie. "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet" was based on a novel but essentially feels like a cautionary "Hannah Montana" episode, with a wildly uneven tone that awkwardly tips from whimsy into melodrama at a moment's notice. Valerie Bertinelli plays the sober aunt of a troubled teen star in a bit of clever casting that marks a cross-generational bid to attract teens and their moms; still, the pic's afterschool special approach amounts to "Girls Gone Mild." ... JoJo: I was initial 'Montana' choice

Singer Joanna "JoJo" Levesque alleges that before singer Miley Cyrus was chosen for "Hannah Montana," she was producers' top choice for the U.S. TV series. The New York Daily News said Friday that, according to "The High Road" singer, she was asked to star in the highly popular Disney Channel series before Cyrus was tabbed for the role. While Cyrus has since earned fortune and fame playing Miley Stewart on the series, Levesque says she does not regret her decision.

"No regrets. No regrets at all," the 17-year-old says. "Yeah, they offered me the role...(But) it's not really what I see for myself."

The Daily News said Levesque's self-titled 2004 album has since gone platinum and the teenage singer has ventured into acting with a role in the Lifetime series "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet."
